Question Who re-sights their ML when the weather gets cold?

I'm just curious as to who goes out and test shoots their ML when the weather cools off/gets cold? I've been told that the POI can be a little off when the weather changes drastically. Just curious to see who re-sights.

Where I hunt 75 yards is a long shot. So the difference that the cold vs. heat would make on the shots I make would be minimum.

If you were going to be shooting long distances, then yes I would suggest you shoot a few rounds to make sure it hadn't changed any/much.

I do and it definitely shifts if you re-sighted durning the warmer months.... the cold weather constricts the bore and changes the force of detonation.

I've checked mine several times, and never had to change my zero. But I still seem to check every year.

I am doing that now with all the rifles I intend to hunt with. I have only did ten rifles so far, but ... not of them have seem to shifted too much. Although my notes on my PA Hunter said to aim dead on, and when I did it was two inches high...

Yet I shoot close ranges, and I do believe that makes a big difference.

Only ten?? Are there that many deer left in your county to chase?

i just sight them in and leave them alone for hunting here in OK. When i hunt in CO, WV and WY in the winter i check the xero upon arrival: Sometimes it is off a few inches sometimes not.
