Default Shot my first blank.

I went to shoot my Rem Genesis and she didnt fire. The first two shots was fine and the third didnt go off. I put another primer in, shot, and another blank. I got home removed my breech plug, two 777 pellets. and the the pellets looked like I just put them in. The breech plug was black but the hole was clear. What do you guys think could have caused it to not fire. I had the 777 pellets since last year and I kept them in a airtight ammo box.????

By blank, you mean misfire. So you had pellets in, loaded a primer and the primer did fire, but nothing happened? I would suspect a couple things... the pellets were no good, you had moisture from swabbing in the breech plug base under the pellets, or the breech plug was filled with fouling.

I suspect the pellets the most.

Pellets are hard to fire in the best circumstances, it does not take much to cause that kind of a problem.

I think there is a right or wrong way to put the pellets in ? did you put one in backwards , was the dark side down ?

Not nearly as embarassing as shooting a day one day, being absolutely sure you reloaded, then pulling the trigger on one the next day only to get a small primer "pop" and nothing else, and realize you'd been carrying an empty gun all day.

Not that I speak from experience or anything....
