Default Looking to buy a new muzzleloader...help

I am selling my Knight LK-II...it was a good gun but a pain to clean and not the easiest to use.

I am looking for a new muzzleloader now and want something that is easy to clean and load/use. This only needs to be a muzzleloader so I don’t need something that can change barrels. Please post your best guess of how much your suggestion setup may cost.

I would like to hear what people think from the good to the bad. I would like to buy a lightly used one to save money but will by new for a good deal.

So help me out guys...and thank you in advance for your help. These forums and the guys on it have helped me buy many things and people haven’t steered me wrong yet. THANKS!

I bought wife a 45Cal CVA Optima....shoots lights out...easy to remove breech plug (just dont over tighten and use enough grease) and knocks deer dead

I have a thumb hole stock traditions in "moth" camo...50 cal...same thoughts as CVA

Someone else just PMed me saying the Triumph was the way to go too. I may start looking at those very close now. Do they make them with thumb hole stocks and pre mounted scope mounts? Thanks!

I bought the CVA Optima Magnum stainless steel with a realtree thumbhole stock for $277.00 plus tax. I put a tasco 3-9x50 scope on it and it shoots 3.00+- groups at 200 yds. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

I can move this thread to the Black Powder section if you want more input from some muzzleloading experts. Just say the word....

Savage 10ML-II. Awesome ML, and with smokeless powder it's the cleanest, easiest to maintain, and cheapest to shoot ML on the market today.
