Default The Mutant (aka: CVA Bobcat Project)

Finally got around to taking some pictures of The Mutant (only name I could come up with - any ideas?)

Started out as a standard CVA Bobcat (.50 cal) . . .

. . . swapped out the synthetic stock with a wood one . . .

. . . added some brass and refinished the stock . . .

Overall, I'm very pleased with the end result. Would like to replace the ramrod with a wood one if I can find one.

I've only had the opportunity to shoot a couple rounds out of, but it sure feels different.

I like it! I'm a sucker for a purdy wood stock and a shiny piece of blued steel.

Good job on the transition!
