Default Range Day getting ready

Muzzle loader first season is 3 weeks away and we are trying to set up a trip to my friends for some boar hunting. I thought it would be a good idea to try some things, both worked.
The Endeavor group includes the first shot of the day with a clean barrel I tried a new method and I think it shows promise.
The Triumph group was with a 110 gr load of BH looking for a load that would shoot both the 250 and the 200gr Lehigh to the same POI and while not exactly on this is close enough for use in the back up gun in a pinch.
!00yds @ Cleburne County Range Good weather light breeze of the bench @9:30 to 10:30 [did not have much time]
Loads:
Endeavor 140 gr BH209 200 gr Lehigh Blue MMP 50/40 sabot.
Triumph 110 gr BH209 200gr+250gr Lehigh Blue 50/40+SBH

It seems like a lot but the pressure of a 135 gr BH load is only equal to 120gr load of 777 or 150 of RS and that's what shoots good with the 200gr Lehigh even the recoil is not bad.

AWESOME shooting Lee. I have no doubt you can do the job. Now let's see how those bullets do.

BTW- I hope you save your pics of these targets you shoot. I would like to put them on Lehigh's web-site.

Semisane
actually those are my go to load and bullet, they really make it fun to shoot when some of the deer hunter friends that use lever action 30-30's are at the range. They consistently shoot under an inch usually under.9, that one today is particularly good but the best ever is .24, which I am kind of proud of. I have not shot the Lehigh 200 on game yet but with any luck it won't be long. Lee

As soon as I get out of school and done with the MG seminar, I am going hunting. Hope to score before I have to go to DC for a couple weeks, but will be hunting again as soon as I get back if I have any tags left. I have them will put them in the E-Mail to night. Lee
