Default sabotloaders custom Muzzleloader

He did an excellent job making the stock shorter and adding a new recoil pad to my Knight Vision. He also did a great job cleaning and treating the barrel for me so it was ready to go to the range.

I was playing around with those Lehigh 100grn bullets most of the evening trying to get them to stabilize. After that i decided i would shoot one group with the 250grn Lehigh's in a short black Harvester sabot. Well as you can see it shot pretty darn good. The gun looks pretty darn good to. Thanks for your help Mike.

I am glad it all worked out for you... even the teflon on the breech plug...

triple seven container? And that looks like shockwaves over on the corner of the gun case?Couldn't be. That would be sacriligious for you wouldn't it ?

Sabotloader already commented about the 777. I will admit, no crud rings and very dirty. His way of treating the bore does pretty much eliminate the crud ring. The reason for the 777 was testing light weight bullets. I need a faster powder then Bh209 to do that. The 777ffg worked fine for that. Around here BH209 is a much better deal then 777.

I should also ad that the tephlon tape on the breech plug was really nice. he sent the gun back that way. The plug came out looking like new. I think i will stray away from grease slowly.

I truely love my Vision and am glad you do also. I am interested in the idea of shortening my butt stock. If you notice in my picture, I had to use offset rings to geive a littel closer to the scope:

Did you have to do anything that a technically challenged individual would have problems doing?

Now as to bullet and powder combos, I use the BH209 with 100 grs and the Hornaday FPB bullet. I am gettng the same results has you are in you target on top. I also have the Leupold Ultimate Slam and love it.

Very nice job on the stock. A rifle that fits a person makes a world of difference in shooting comfort.

After finishing cleaning this ML i have decided i will hunt with it on my next hunting trip. The Leupold Ultimate Slam Scope is very clear and great eye relief. I also now basically have it shot in with the 250grn Lehigh's. The 250grn Lehigh is definate over kill on hogs and Deer but so what. Something different for me. 130grns of BH209 will be the powder.

Hey sabotloader, i wrapped the breech plug with tape, not grease.
