Default Help!!!!

My 700ML fell over while cleaning it today, landed on the trigger and broke it off. Any suggestions for a replacement?

I would call remington and see if they have it. You might be surprised.

you can order a trigger assembly from them $70+, kinda steep. think i might check with some local gunsmiths to see if they have any "take offs"

I would bet Sabotloader has an idea. He'll be around sometime this weekend.

Nolehoe

Grouse just called me and said I should look at this thread...

The Remnington Trigger is called a 'Walker Trigger" - I twas/is the standard trigger for the Remington 700 for several years.

I doubt very much that Remington would sell you just the trigger - they will sell you the Trigger assembly and they will repair your trigger is you send it in for work.

The other choice is if you live in an area that has a few gun smiths check with them they may have one laying around. a lot of folks replace their Walkers with upgraded triggers.

Also you can buy a replacement trigger assembly at a resonable price from Brownell's...

Good luck, if you have any questions that I might help give a shout....
