Shucks, at the price they're asking that bullet better field dress the deer and haul the deer back to your truck.

Did I miss something? Looks to be $36 or so per 50...lots of bullets priced higher than that.

That does look like an average cost for a premium bullet. Whether they work well, would be a matter of testing.

I am considering giving them a try as they give me a couple more options for .40 caliber bullets.

Be sure and let us know your experiences if you do decide to try them.. I like the reports of forum members experience much more then testimonials on their site.

Well, they are copper jacketed lead core bullets. I was checking out the 200 grain 40 calibers, which are $36 for 50. I think that's pretty pricy. Forty caliber 200 grain XTPs are around $20 for 100. Even the .410 210 grain Gold Dots (which are premium bullet as far as I'm concerned) are only around $24 a hundred.

That's the advantage of using pistol bullets, they'll always be cheaper than dedicated ML bullets due to volume. The FTXs are cheaper too. I guess my point was that Barnes, Powerbelts, Precision RIfle, and even Shockwaves are that price or higher so I didn't see it as being unusual.

Thumbs up

I consider myself a very cheap bastard, but don't think these bullets are that bad. I would love to give them a try. we are somewhat limited in the bullets we can use in a sabot for our sport. It would be fun. Think will try an order.
