can you use water to clean your ml after this like 777 or do you have to use things like montana x-treme cowboy cleaner? what other good cleaners are there out there if you can't use water?

Good old Hoppes 9 works or any solvent same as you would use on your shotgons or center-fire refles.

No, Water doesn't work, Hope this helps

I use Hoppes 9 also. Works like a charm. BH209 is definitely not water soluble.

Alk will do the job, I like a 50/50 mix of alk and Hoppes #9.
