Default CVA Electra

I see that Cabalas has all 12 models of the Electra discounted on their Bargain Cave web page. I wonder how many of those things are sitting in warehouses. I wonder how many have been sold.

I would guess a lot. Before a number of states that have relatively good common sense law outlawed them they were getting popular. For some unknown reason the law makers took a dislike to them. Lee

I'd be willing to bet that there are more sitting around than ever sold. I personally think it's about the dumbest idea around, but i know someone else probably thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. You can jump on me if you want. but I still think it's a stupid idea

I don't think I've ever seen a post by anyone shooting one on HNI, Graybeard, or Modern Muzzleloader.

The problen that I have with the CVA Electra is the fact that they fire with a spark from a battery. It just seems to me to be like loading a rifle that has a primer in place. I know that they must have safety features to prevent firing while being loaded but safetys can and sometimes do fail.

The Electra is like that .52 caliber that Knight hypped: It is a gun looking for a use.

mike Belm is really touting them on his web site, http://www.bellmtcs.com/store/index.php

I just can't get into it for some reason, I like the idea of another thing that can go wrong in ML sport. Flint doesn't go off, 209 doesn't strike etc etc. somehow the story I missed the deer because the batteries were dead doesn't hit me right????
