Primer shortage and my new LRH
Finally found a place that had some CCI 209M primers today. They can be hard to find! The not so close stores of Cabelas, Bass Pro, and Gander Mt. did not have them! A small local sportingoods store in my homeown actually had them. Didn't call them till last because I just figured they wouldn't have them but they did! However, they would only let me buy one pkg of 100. Can go back in tomorrow and get another one. Figured I would get a couple to try on my new Knight long range hunter.
Question: When I shot my LRH this weekend with Remington STS primers, the center of the primer was pushed convex (backwards) from the blowback. I was using 90 and 100 gr of BH 209. Is this something to expect from this gun and powder or is this a concern?
