Default Got my boar & ram mounts
Man that was quick! I got my Euro-Boar and Cinnamon Dall mounts back from Life-Like Taxidermy in Crossville, TN today. I'm very impressed and very pleased with how they turned out. What do you guys think?

They both look really good, SW. The only "issue" I have is that the boar looks too "pretty". Most people want the mount to look "alive", which for a wild pig seems to be mangy, matted rough look. He cleans up well, though.

Seriously, though, they look good.

Yeah, I realized that when my daughter wanted me to hang them down at her level. I said "Nope, you'd just hang stuff on them". She said, "I know"...

I think so too. The guy who did them had a shop that was busting at the seams with outstanding work of all kinds. He said that he is the oldest taxidermist in the state of TN.
