I got out and tested the Triumph a little bit yesterday. Got where I wanted to be at 50, moved out to 100 and was shooting about a 1-1.5" group then tried to see what was happening at 150. Mind you I'm using two pellets of 777, Shockwave sabot and 777 primers. I wasn't sure what to expect, but my buddy and I were aiming about 6" high on the target at 150 and it was just below the bull. I thought that was pretty good and I also think I will use about 150 yards as my end point with two pellets for now until I get a little more practice under my belt. How high at 100 does everyone go? The guy that boresighted my triumph at the bass pro told me somewhere around 2" high at 100 yards.
I usually shoot somewhere around 115-120 grains...with a 200 gr. bullet, I am, give or take, depending on the load combination, about 3" high at 100, zero at 160, and 4" low at 200.

I use a BDC reticle scope so I set mine up to where it's zero at 100 and then test shoot to see which part of the reticle I need to use for further yardage.

Troutman10 i hope u r not useing the easy-glide yellow sabot [shockwave] they load too easy and r all over the place ..get the black sabots ..
That depends on the gun. My triumph is .498 and shoots the superglide with great accuracy. I can't load the regular black sabot,it's to tight. A tight fit is required for accuracy but not to the point that you have to beat it down the barrel.
Thanks for the help guys. I might have to move an inch higher. How does adjusting higher (about 3" high at 100 yards) affect the short shots...say 0-50 yards?

Not much at all. I would sight in 2.5" at 100 yards and see were you are at 50yds. You will pretty much be aiming dead on from 50 to 150.
BTW- I would consider shooting loose powder if you are going to be shooting past 150yds. It's cheaper and more effective all the way around.
