FYI, Cabela's is having a good sale on their Knight rifles. A buddy of mine just bought a Rolling Block for $150. The LRH is going for $399.
If I wasn't saving up for a flintlock I'd have to grab one of the LRHs. That's a good deal!

The way I see it cayugad, it'd be foolish NOT to buy one
My wife has instructed me to stay off Cabela's now becuase I have enough points to basically make it free and I'm not sure I'm strong enough to resist that temptation [&o]

1) Misfires: probably from gunk in the "falling block/trigger area" and possibly faulty design? Sent my first trigger assembly in and they replaced it. Have fired about 30-40 shots since then and no misfires. Time will tell if it will happen again. Even on the one that did misfire, it didn't start until about 10-15 shots at the range. Never misfired in the first few shots, so I didn't worry about it for hunting.
2) stock doesn't falloff enough for open sights. Have to push your face down lower into the stock than you are used to. Probably fine with a scope, but I don't use one. I have gotten used to it and don't even notice it any more. Helps to have a high peep and front sight.
Shoots pretty well, but has a pretty large barrel and most full bore conicals almost slide down with little pressure.
Not hard to clean. Trigger assembly/rolling block is one piece and comes complety out for cleaning.
Right before the Knight meltdown, I emailed and asked if they had a replacement stock that might work better. They don't .

DANG! I had October 1st. 2008 in the Cayugad/KRB Pool. I just can't believe he held off so long.

Well he's decided to hold off a lot longer. I was looking at the wall and there are three rifles that I need to start shooting a little more.
