Default 777: 2 Pellets vs. 3 Pellets

I was going to use 2 pellets of 777, but now am wondering if that is the right choice. I am hunting an area where shots around 150 yards or a little further could occur. What are all the pros and cons of 2 triple seven pellets vs. 3 triple seven pellets? Any help is appreciated.

2 pellets work for me. I took 2 long distance deer last year with my Triumph
1 at 234 yards and 1 at 223 yards. Both went less than 20 yards. Both with 2 pellets triple 7 and 250 gr super glide shockwaves.

I never had much luck with three pellets. I would suggest switching to loose powder and working up a good load for 150yds. I would suggest 110 to 115grns by volume with a 250grn bullet.

It will also be alot cheaper and more effective then 3 pellets.

For the most part I do not believe that all of 3 pellets will burn in the barrel except with heavy bullets.
If you prefer pellets 2 will most often be the most accurate.
If you don't mind trying loose then try every thing from 100 to 120 loose and stay with the most accurate load, quite often that will be 110. Lee

Tried the pellets. 2 -50gr. pellets worked ok. They have some downfalls. The only benefit I can see is convience. Other than that, the absorbe moisture, they can crush during loading and you cna not "fine tune" your load. But hey, what ever gets the job done, right?
