Default CVA Plainsman - Range Report

Took the .50cal CVA Plainsman Flintlock out this evening. I first took 3 shots at 100 yards and not a darn one was on paper  I went home, cleaned the barrel out and after it stopped raining i took the speed loaders and decided to try 70 yards. I had been over shooting the target at 100 so i adjusted my sights to where i thought it would be ok.

After my first 2 shots i finally got her dead on @ 70 yards and shots 3-4-5 were awesome!

I have some 348gr Powerbelts so maybe tomorrow i'll go ahead and sight the rifle in with those. Make this one my all around deer/elk gun.

Also, that adjustable tumbler i put in was perfect! Bye bye 20lb trigger!

for 70 yards that is some excellent shooting. Without question.
