RIFLE WITH THE BEST GROUP

I there a black powder rifle still on the market that shoots consistantly good to great groups. with a widest variety of loads? I have a traditions side hammer that, when i could see without a scope, shot pretty close to everything i put thru it with 80 to 90 grs of pyro select at 50 yds in 1/2 to 1 and 1/2 inch groups. 4" groups most of the time at 100.I have owned six different inlines and expect It at least a consistant 1 1/2 inch at 100.I have been shooting for 53 years and have heard from alot of folks "Man can you shoot"I have also been around more than that that I couldnt carry their guncase, very humbling. I had it drumbed into my head for years that "consistantcy is accuracy" and I truely believe that is true with people but not weapons, factory weapons that is. I know I am probable way off the chart to alot of you but I am so nuts about this thing we call one hole groups

When you consider accuracy and muzzleloaders I always consider rifle brand, projectiles, powders, optics, and distance I have to shoot.

Most of the inline rifles on the market with some reasonable optics, a projectile and load can be found to do some good shooting out to 100 yards. Then there are some rifles that seem to do exceptional groups at some real distances.

If I wanted a rifle for shooting non smokeless powder at some extreme distances, I would look at T/C Triumph, Pro Hunters, Omega, Knight Disc Extreme, Master Hunter, KP-1, Remingtons 700, CVA Accura, Optima, ...

all of those with good optics will shoot good groups. In your case it sounds like you have excellent shooting skills, so half you battle is already won.

I have an Omega,a Triumph, a System One, and a Big Horn. They all shoot good I also have a Endeavor which I have not had very long. I have shot minute of angle groups with all of them; now and then with the Triumph I get a one hole group.

The most accurate out of the box Muzzleloader with a wide variety of bullets and sabots has been the 50cal Knight Disc Elite.

The most accurate out of the box Muzzleloader with a particular load has been the T/C triumph.

The most accurate Muzzleloader i have ever owned has been the NULA.

Holy Moly Lee - that is awesome.
In answer to dead on's question - I think its pretty hard to find a rifle that will shoot everything good. But to me that is the fun of ML shooting. Trying to find that special formula of bullet, powder, and charge to produce tiny little groups.
Even rifles of the same model will favor different load combos.

Guns that shoot multiple load combination's well, are FUN, to say the least.
