Default Some new Ammo for the Accura

Im going to get on sight with some 300gr xtp's before moving onto the 200gr Lehigh. I'll push them with 150gr loose pyrodex RS and see how they group. After that i will move onto the 250gr Lehighs.

yes the 200's are the .40cal's with the blue sabots and the 250's are .45cal with black. Im not sure if they are mmp-12 or 24's. I'll find out when i load them.

I got the 200's on sight after 3 shots @ 70 yards. 150GR loose RS has quite a bite to it but still is comfortable to shoot with the 200's. I wasnt able to shoot for groups as i needed to bring it down a good 6" so it would hit the bulls eye level area. I can do 100 yards tomorrow with the 200's and see how they do.

Next trip for powder i'll buy triple 7 2f for some extra speed.

Good luck with the Lehighs. I am looking to try the 185gr in my .45 Accura. The 200s shot ok butI think I can improve on the acuracy.I'm told the 185s will be shorter and will shoot better out of the 1:28 twist.

The group in thecenter diamond is the Lehigh group.

That XTP group is impressive!

Very pleased with this group even though i fudged up shot 2. Im taking the 300gr XTP's out now with 100gr RS and see how it does. Those Lehighs show great promise. I think i can actually tighten it up when i buy some Triple 7 to up the FPS.

Any clue on the FPS with that bullet with 150gr Loose Pyrodex RS?
