Default Range Report

Finally got to shoot the new stainless Endeavor. Shot 3 or 4 at the bank and used an old target some one left up to get it on the paper, then shot a 3 shot group to start the sight in process. Had to go get the wife from therapy so I could not stay; she is doing better soon I will be able to come and go freely again. Lee

lemoyne: I know you haven't shot yourEndeavor too much... but what is your opinion of the stock enhancements with respect to felt recoil.

My limited shooting with the Triumph really rocked me on the bench.. with the Encore (walnut stock) noticeably better.

Wow.. now that's the way you like to see a new rifle come in. Nice shooting. I will be interested in your recommendations of the new rifle and how you feel it shoots. So far it looks real good.

What scope did you mount? Also what was the load you were shooting?

Since this is the first group that has ever been shot with it I will wait until it has about 100 shot through then shoot it at long range after the barrel has been broken in. They kind of spread the groups out a bit until the barrel is broken in.

I was shooting my Triumph's favorite load as I have no idea what this one likes yet. That's 120 gr BH a short black Harvester sabot and a 250 gr SW.
As for the way it shot I have had people tell me they could not tell the difference in the way they recoil, I am not a recoil conscious person but I could sure tell that it does not kick near as hard as the Triumph with the same load. Lee

Very nice shooting. That combination shoots in just about any ML.
