Dont get excited, i also took 3 shots without swabbing and they loaded easy with no more crud ring buuuuuttt.....




Im getting the Kentucky ready now and will report back with those pics.

That swabbing group is great with open sites at 100.

heres the kentucky. I had some flint trouble that still has me scratching my head but i wont know if i fixed it until tomorrow when i take it out again. I also upped my charge tonight to 90gr goex 3f and that will bring me up a little. This rifles pet load is 110gr 3f goex and its a sob on the shoulder so i will see how 90gr does. Shots 3 and 4 were a SOB to get off. 1 and 2 show excellent promise.


Some recovered balls in the trap. .530 VS .490

Pretty good grouping the MD as long as you swab the barrel.
