Default Refinished my kentucky

Finished this up a couple days ago. Right now i am just applying one coat per day of original oil finish and slowly letting it build up to the gloss that i want. I love being able to feel the wood grain, i got sick of the plastic cheap feel of tru-oil. This should keep me happy for a long while. I am going to apply another thin coat of oil and rub that in. I can feel/see the finish building up, just have to decide when to stop.
I am going to refinish the barrel later on.

Looks like a CVA Kentucky rifle. I built one from a kit back in 1976 in percussion. That fall I killed my first black powder deer with it, a fine seven pointer. I had a lot of fun with that old rifle.
