Default Who's gonna be first

I just saw a commercial on the Outdoor Channel for IMRs new White Hots. Its a white BP substitute in pellet form. I thought the guy in the commercial was putting chalk down his bore.
Anyone see or try this stuff yet?

I picked some up last trip to cabelas. It is the same as Triple 7. The only difference I could see was that it is white. Same shape same everything. Shoots the same in my guns. Hodgden even makes it since they bought out IMR a couple years ago. Ill stick with 777, color doesn't matter to me.

Chet - I was just reading an article about it in shooting times magazine. The table in the article shows it produces significantly more velocity than T7. And the article goes on to say that it cleans up easily with just a wet water patch. Did you find that to be true? They aren't toocheap $27 for 72 pellets. That's $.75 a shot. Compared to T7 at $18 per hundred. That's $.36 a shot - about 1/2 the price. (based on 2 pellet perload)

I clean 777 with water and they seemed to clean the same. I don't have a chrono but I had same POI so i assumed the velocity was similar otherwise I figured i would have a little higher POI. I have a friend that has a Chrono. I will have to see if I can get a test on velocity. I even had a slight crud ring just like 777 . In my Triumph anyway. That's the only gun i shot them in

I still have 3/4 of the box. I could send you a tube of them if you want to try them. (As long as I can get away without a Hazmat shipping charge that is)

Nah - thanks - but no need to bother. I'm not a big pellet fan. I was just curious to see how this stuff performed. You know how those writers can be. Some are afraid to 'tell it like it is'.
