58 caliber FIE

A local classified has a 58 caliber FIE unfired for sale. It is an Italian gun. I think I saw one time that FIE stood for Firearms Importers and Exporters. Anybody have any info on this gun? He is asking only $155.

I have a FIE revolver in .357. It is a decent gun. Never seen a FIE ML though.

Most Italian guns are good quality, but I do not have an FIE. I would examine the rifle close and check the trigger pull, safety, stock for stress cracks, and remember, if it breaks you probably will not get any service or parts.
