If the weather is nice I'd lean to the shooting time more than the cleaning time. And just before she gets home go like a madman and clean up a little bit. Makes them happy when they come home to a clean house.......but it doesn't have to be spotless. I'm just speaking for 24.5 years experience.

I used to go fishing... when I was married, and left alone. The the wife would take a minnie vacation for one reason or another. She used to leave me these lists of things that needed to get done. Well I just wrote on the top of the list.. "GO FISHING". Don't forget to draw a line through that when you're sure you have it well done. That way I was always able to get something on the list done.

Although this is a good time to get yard work done. All of the chores of owning a home (chores that never seem to stop it seems) are a lot easier to get done when you're not having to run back to the house for something else ever fifteen minutes. That drives me nuts. You want to get my hackles up, when I am doing something in the garage or yard, they all of a sudden have something that needs to be done RIGHT NOW.And you have to come and do it. Normally its something they could do themselves or could have waited. So enjoy your peaceful time. Work at your own pace. And don't forget to have a little fun yourself.

What a coincidence. I'll be in FL next week too. I hope she's not smiling too much when she gets home......
Actually we are going down so my wife can help my daughter pick out a wedding gown. And she is going to be doing some house shopping too. We are thinking about getting a place to retire and now is a good time with the housing market the way it is. There goes my African trip I was planning on.Looks like another 5 years of saving.
