Default almost done finishing my stock

this is what my hawken stock looks so far.

charles daley, pretty much the same stock as a cva, it is going to be wearing an cva 54cal brand new barrel I got from deer creek. may end up ordering the lock from them too. just have to pick up the check for the tc new englander I sold.

I know, this stock is becoming one of my best.

just need to get the rest of the parts. and the barrel off to md. who may put the very first shots on it, just out of spite because I have not shot the 50cal he worked on for me. hoping the powerbelts that are in the bottom of the box will talk him out of it.

oh yeah, the barrel still does not have an rear site on it.

Good job Corey. No runs, no drips, no errors. Looks nice.
I put 10 coats of Tru Oil on my new T/C Hawken and have the brass so shiny you can see yourself. This is my Sunday "Go to Meeting" rifle. And you saw the targets, it shoots as good as it looks.

I had rubbed the finish using an paper towel. was able to fix and apply at the same time.

there are some runs but no really noticeable. think when I got do stock for now on I will using this method.
