RS under some XTPs...240 or 300...would be my first stop. It's reliably simple, and tends to work at one charge or another.

Me being a CVA Shooter have a-lot of CVA's....2 Kodiak's, a Mag and a Pro. I put this Ml to the test and the ones I have used 3-50gr Pellets of Pyro and a 240gr XTP Mag with Win W209 and T7 Primers. I only used the (Magnum) Load with theese as at the time this is all I shot a Magnum Load.
The Kodiak's handles the Magnum Load great and for some reason all My CVA's like the 240gr XTP Mag. The Kodiak shot great groups with this load and Bullet, Im sure it would shoot even better with a lesser charge but I never had the time to try different one's as I got My ACCURA's and put the Kodiaks on the back burnner.
I liked the Kodiak's but one thing i did'nt like about them is you could'nt dissasemble the (trigger mec) for cleaning. It had to stay attached to the barrel when cleaning, and this was the one thing I did'nt like about it. But other than that the Kodiak was reliable and handled the Magnum Load well, and loved the 240gr XTP Mags.
I managed to get a little better than 2"groups at 100yds with it and that was a Magnum Load, so not bad for a Value Priced MLer that got the job done. My Kodiak Pro preformed just as well and it had a fluted barrel.
Good Luck.

100 grs. 777 and the deadcenters 240-260 have shot real well in all the Kodiaks I have owned. I used 90 grs. of BH209 and 250gr. shockwaves in the one my Wife carried this year, very accurate load

90gr loose Pyrodex RS or 2 50gr Pyrodex pellets. As far as bullets and sabots, I'd give, Gold Dot, Barnes MZ Expanders, and XTP's all a chance in a black Harvestor Crushed Rib sabot with Winchester W209 primers. Just my opinion for a starting point. Good Luck..........we'll be waiting for a range report.

X2 on the 250gr Shockwaves. I used 100gr of T7 though.
