My new Powerbelt Tip insert

I have shot 5 deer with muzzleloader, all with powerbelt, all with inline and two 50grain pellets and 245gr hp. Now, none of them, from 80 yards to 40 yards penetrated all the way through. Also, none of the deer produced good blood trails within the first 40 yards...then massive blood for a short distance and then the deer. One deer did drop in its tracks. All the deer had lots of blood in the cavity and one of them I found lots of fragments near the front shoulder. I am in process of switching to something else, though I like the way they load and I guess they have never caused a loss deer, I am scared they will. I like how that Barnes TEZ kept its shape and weight...looks good. Might want to try that.

i hope to use the 245gr PB this year. I want to try 80-90gr RS and see how it does. My Mtn stalker doesnt like 100gr RS.
