Default wood stock for Bobcat - update

In a previous post, I had expressed the desire to swap out the synthetic stock on my Bobcat for a wood one - looking for a more traditional look.

On another forum, someone had used a special vinyl/plastic spray paint on a synthetic stock with very good results. This gave me another option to consider.

But I finally called Deer Creek Products. Great people to talk to. They have the wood stocks for the Bobcat - finished and complete (wedge plates and buttplate). All I need to do is install my lock, trigger, tang and barrel.
Price comes to $75 shipped.

Would like some input/opinions on whether this is a good(?) price (not much on the net to go by).

Sounds like a good price to me. Just wonder what kind of wood it is? Another thing, where are they located? You might want to check this out.

There is a Deer creek in Indiana, don't know about them, the link below is for one in Florida. if you are talking about them i would be a little leery.

The stock is walnut, finished in a "medium red" color.

DCP is in Indiana; they took over the CVA sidelock line.

I read that there is another company with the same name (or similiar) that has been getting black flagged by consumers and one of the BBBS - this is not that one.
