Default Dumb question

Momma always said that the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.So here goes.
I've been trying to find out the diameter of a 32 cal round ball but my searches were unsuccessful. I've seen diameters from .311 to .323 when I did a search.
What is the dia of a 32 cal RB. (or the bore size of a 32 cal ML)?
I'm still debating getting a Crockett rifle just for fun.

Hornady has .310 and .315.That sounds about right for a .18 patch.

I don't have a .32 but I sure would like one

Can't help you there bronko. I've like to knowthe same thing myself.

I reload Hornady .314 90 grainlead semi-wadcutters for plinking loads in a .32 HMR revolver (pictured below). They are pretty soft lead, dry lubed, accurate as all get out, and cost a little over $30 for 500.
I've often wished I had a trim little caplock with a .314 bore and 1:30 twist rate to shoot them out of.

The Crockett is a great gun . I got one last year and it shoots great. I use Hornady .310 balls and .015 or .018 patches with 30 gr of fffg. I have used Shockeys gold ,triple 7 and pyrodex. It shoots them all good.

There may be an industry standard diameter for 32 cal guns, but I don't know it. Any manufactured product will have some variation, and to know your particular bore diameter, you'll have to slug it. As others said, RBs are manufactured in at least a couple diameters, for different bore/patch combinations.
