here's one for ya...

I'm in IT-someone at work wants me to work on their new home computer...

no sorry that's your problem I tell them-"but I do work on it-aren't you required to fix it."

that would be a "no."

always this kind of stuff... then at X-mas none of them can bother to get ya even a candy bar...

forgot to start it ask off topic. [8D]

thinking about. no computer, no internet access, no going into forums to get help with muzzleloader problems

so ok. muzzleloader version

guy calls an muzzleloader company to ask for help with his gun

caller: the gun I just bought won't fire the bullet I put down it.

CS: did you add powder to the gun before loading the bullet

caller: yes

CS: Ok, did you prime the gun before trying to shoot it.

caller: what do you mean about prime the gun

CS: did you place the primer in the breech?

caller: I did see anywhere about priming. I thought it was electric ignition

CS: did you charge the battery.

caller: did it come with a battery?

CS: yes it should of been in the box.

caller: click

few mins later.

CS: how can I help you?

caller: I just called about my gun,

cs: (pulls up the info) oh yes, I remember talking with you

Caller: I took the box to the dump last week, so I don't have it.

CS: that will be $50 for a new battery

caller: "click"

RD, I to am in I.T., and hear this same rap. Its not as bad now that I no longer work the help desk, but what you described is definately not an exaggeration.

Here's one for ya. Your computer is acting up and someone says it's an error such as a I D 1 0 T

Say it as it spells I Dee 10 T error it obviously spells "idiot" and the person actually beleives it is an error.
