Default bullet question

I have a pack of 50 cal. black crush rib sabots that take a 45 cal. bullet.Will any 45 cal. bullet work?

.451-.452 will work in them. A .458 will bea little tight.

I use the .452 Black CR for Nosler Partitions (.451), Speer Gold Dot (.452) and Barnes Origonals (.458) and Barnes TSX FlatNose 45843 (.458). They work well for all those bullets. The .458 bullets is for my SAvage, which I have found likes the tighter fitting bullet and sabot combo.

Ron, I suggest you start with the 45 cal handgun bullets that measure .451 - .452". If they are too loose, then you can go up the the 45 cal rifle bullets in the .458" range.
You want the sabot/bullet combo to be snug but not overly tight. A firm steady pressure required to seat it over the charge. (You don't want it to slip down the bore easily but you don't want to have to hammer it down either.)
