I think we have only seen the beginning. What is so sad is that so many think it is no big deal.I think it is a whole lot harder to change a law than it is to stop a bill from becoming law.

All yo gun owners in IL better unite and quit just talking and whining about the stupidity in your state's legislature. You need to band together, go to your state capital in force and begin a peaceful protest. Y'all are just sitting back and letting all this crap happen to you and do nothing. Meanwhile your rights as gun owners are slowly being whittled away.

If this crap can start here it can go any where. Stuff like that will get people to get rid of their guns as they need insurance on their god given right to bear arms freely. It is a typical non-gun owner/hunter coming up with ways to make it harder for us law abiding citizens to get and keep our guns. Hell even the criminals can get guns easier than we can. Our country is and has been in the shi# house for some time.I am sad to say I'm an American when stuff happens like this.I support NRA and I'm sure as hell they know this already and are working hard at this bunch of crap but as said before if the folks from Illinois sit back we all will suffer.

I see two huge problems with this bill.

1. What insurance company in it's right mind would underwrite such a policy?

2. If a company was crazy enough to underwrite such a policy, the premiums would be outrageous.

I see this bill the end to private firearms ownership in that state and the USA. If the bill becomes law and survives Constitutional challenges. You guy's are cooked.
