Default Server problems???

Am I the only one having problems here? My computer hangs up on that error on the page about 2/3 of the time when I try to bring a page up and every time I try to post something it posts that error ing finding the page along side it. I have checked my computer and not found anything wrong that I could tell. Lee

I have dial-up also, but I found if I (Double Left-Click) on the links or pages insted of a single left-click it works a-lot faster. BP

Lee

It certainly is not good - sometimes it runs great more often it hangs up... but read breechplugs suggestion it does work a lot of the time....I can confirm that..

Still very slow or locks up about 50% of the time loading pages. Have to hit "stop" then "reload" a lot... and I have cable.

I've been posting these problems in the "Post-Migration Technical Issues" thread, under the "Technical Help" Forum. Hopefully someone is looking into the issue.

Rob

Yep. Slow and with a lot of hiccups ever since the last server switch. Darn shame - this is my favorite forum but it is getting aggravating.

I am in the same boat... some times I can not even log into this forum. I have to go and log in from a favorites menu just to get on, and that can take for ever. I think they have some serious problems here.

Dave,
You may be right, but a fried of mine that builds and works on computers [ we were work on the new custom one I am building] brought the programs background up after mine hung up and it was stopped at the error on the page something about the spacing being wrong. I am not sure but I think that that would not be the server, that would be in the program of the form I think. Don't really know much about PC programing the only programs I ever wrote were for a Mac Main frame years ago. Lee
