Default if you where on an budget (I know I am)

If you had $250 to get an gun and scope. What would you get.

I would buy a Triumph for about $300 and forget the scope, shoot open sights year 1, then next year buy a good scope and rings (Bushnell Elite 3200, Nikon Pro Staff) and excellent steel rings and mounts.

I would buy a niceused TC Black Diamond and put a Simmons $39.95 scope on it until i could afford a better scope.

I haven't seen a muzzle loader for that price that I would want, little lone a scope with it. Now for that price I could get another Nikon Omega scope . They are great .

does not really have to be a muzzy, I am think for myself something like a maverick or a cheap mossberg shotgun. I am wanting another one since I sold mine for muzzy gear.

For $250 you could find a new Mossberg 500 or Remington Express 870 I would think.
