Default clearing the road

Helped a buddy of mine this weekend clean out his road to his cabin. Man oh man what a mess to. Its hard to believe ice can cause so much damage. The woods looks like they have been logged off. 100 year old trees on the ground and big limbs everywhere. It took 5 hours with two saws to clear that road and its only a half quarter mile down to it. At least his cabin was not damaged. I'm heading to my cabin next weekend to do some cleaning up there. I don't think I have as much down at my cabin as his. I have been wanting to get after some snow geese here, but it seems like there is to much to do right now. Maybe I can get after some the next week. Millions of snow geese here right now. Cant hardly wait.

Default RE: clearing the road

At least you have a good supply of firewood... Get that all chunked up and split. Of course maybe you don't have to heat houses where you live. We always take and in the spring clean up the "dead and down" and get that put up. As my Dad used to say.. it makes smoke don't it?

Good luck with your snow geese. Those are something I have not hunted for year....
