Proper sabot selection depends largely on the gun. Some gunshave tight bores.

for the .452 you can use a Harvester .452 Crushed Rib, or an MMP 12 or 24. As for the .430 go to the MMP site: http://www.mmpsabots.com/ and look at the "Green ones". buy the MMP from the web site I just gave you, buy the CR from MidsouthShooterssupply.com.

hunting junkie

If these are for your pro-hunter you should probably get the Harvester 'crush rib' in both 45/50 cal and 44/50 cal. These will give you the best opportunity to get a decent fit.

The proper fit might take a little bit of experimentation when shooting 45 cal bullets, not as many options with the 44 cal.

Other sabots in the 45/50 cal bank you mightr want to try is the:

MMP HPH-3p-EZ Load - a thin sabot
MMP HPH-24 Sabot - a little thiker but might be to tight
Harvester Short Black - about the same as the 24

For the 44 cals you might check out...
Harvester Regular Green sabots - a little thinner than the MMP Green sabot

And the only other sabot optin is the 'Crush rib'

Here are the ones I buy from MidSouth:

CR black: https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00072H15045BR

the MMP12s:

The CR for smokeless are thicker and hold up to super hot loads:

I believe this is the MMP "Short Black":
