Ok everyone what is the longest shot you have made at a target.. please tell us the load make up and gun being used.
Mine is 200 yards in a 20 mile per hour cross wind, using a t/c triumph 320g maxi-ball w/80g of pyro select and t7 primer

At a game animal with a muzzleloader I shot out to 85 yards with a .54 caliber Renegade and roundball. With a modern center fire, it was well over 500 yards.

At paper targets, I have shot paper plates out to 150 yards with a muzzleloader.

With my flintlock on deer, 125 yards, load was 80gr FFF Goex and a patched .530 ball...

At targets, was a shooting competition that I entered about 15 years ago...Same gun, load was
bumped to 120gr FF Goex and a .530 ball...Three targets, steel plate bears about 2 feet high, I dropped 2 of the 3...

With my Knight, 147 ranged yards on a 9 pointer...Load was 90grs of Pyrodex R-S and a 250 ShockWave...

At a target 300yds, with a ML 200yds. At a Deer with a ML 188yds, with a rifle at a deer 262yds. BP

The longest shot I've taken and hit with any gun was a 300 yard shot at a 2ft x2ft target, with a friends 45-70 sharps and open sights.

I think it was more luck than skill, but hell I'll take it.

On deer: Muzzle Loader- about 90 yards with a 410 grain Great Plains over 90 grains Pyrodex RS. Centerfire (25-06) - 240 yards with a 100 grain Barnes TripleShock @ 3200 fps.

Muzzle loader on targets - 200 yards out of the Mustang with 300 grain Gold Dots over 105 grains T7 FFG (five inch group).

200 yards. Remington Genesis loaded with 100g BH209, 285g Barnes Spit-Fire MZ, Remington STS Primer, with the center of the target lined up in the second circle down in my Nikon ProStaff 3-9X40 BDC scope.

Longest ML shot is probably about a tie between my 54 cal Renegade and my Genesis, about 80-85 yds.

Longest rifle shot, heck, shorter than the MLs.

I've got a good friend named Tim Lambert fromMN that holds one of the top ten shots,2315 meters with a custom built 308. His scope mount has 300 min of adjustment built in it!! He said at that distance the bullet has 13 sec. of hang time on it!
