Default What base/rings for a TC Encore Endeavor?

What base/rings do you Endeavor owners use? If you could post pics that would be great. I just bought a used Endeavor and it came with Leopold base/rings. I don't really care for them and they look as though they will give me way too much eye relief with the Nikon Omega I'm going to mount. Although I don't have the scope yet and don't know for sure.

I have high Burris QD rings on my Encore and had to remove the rear sight for clearance for the Nikon Omega. The Omega is a very nice nice scope and the eye relief is great.

I just got off the phone with T/C and here's what they recommended...

They said that they recommend I go with at least a MEDIUM RING to clear the rear sight with a 40mm scope. They said that they recommend either the Weaver base/rings or Maxima base/rings. The Weaver base they recommended was #9899 and the rings are #9867. The Maxima base they recommended was #7429 and the rings were #7434 for the quick release or #7431 for fixed rings.

Does anyone have experience with they items and if so, what's your take?
