Default crack????

This is a picture of an auction gun I was thinking of bidding on. When you look at this picture of the barrel does that look like a hairline crack to you?

I am looking at about the 2 o'clock position.

hard to tell. Could be a dog hair (ever been in my house?) I would sure question the seller on that point and get them to make a written responce. Then if it is a crack, you would have the right to send it back for a full refund.

Hard to tell from here, but there's a similar mark at 3:30 or 4 too. I don't think it is a crack.

It sure looks like a crack to me, if you look at the inside of the barrel where the crack starts it's a little wider than the rest of the crack. I saved the pic and then blew it up and that's my O.P. A dog hair is usually straight, what you see is curved , and if it was a hair would'nt it be longer and go past the inside and outside diameter of the barrel, too small for a hair. And it seems funny to get a pic as to show the supposed (crack) mabey the seller put that pick there to show it was indeed there and you missed it and bought it. I'd ask the seller befor I buy it. Try blowing the pic up and see for yourself. Good Luck....

Crack or scratch, it appears as an indentation. Lee
