What are your thoughts on this new model? Please share any thoughts or opinions as I am looking to possibly purchase this gun. Thanks

I have read good things about them, but never owned or shot one.

great rifle but personally, i feel that the drop actions are a Pain in the rear to clean. If you want to spend $50-75 more the CVA Accura blue/black is the better rifle and well worth the extra bucks. www.cabelas.com or www.budsgunshop.com They start out at around $300

I got one and it shoots nice, got the camo/ss model. Like said the drop action stay's connected to the barrel, but you can remove the pin and take it off if need be, but you cant take apart the trigger mech. A little tip for you, go to CVA.com and click on the (bargain den) there selling this model (Kodiak Pro camo/ss) for $259.00,not a bad price, Cabela's are sold out and they only have the blue/black model for the same price. The drop action never bothered me with cleaning. For a few more dollars Cabela's has the ACCURA on sale for $269.99 blue/black. With the ACCURA you get the Bergara Barrel, and the extra $10 get's you a-lot more ML.
