Default Posting pictures you took, that are on the Internet, Organizing your PC for hunting

1. You have to upload your picture(s) to a Web Server, like Photobucket or somewhere else, you must have a user name on that Web Servers. Instructions to post your picturesare here:

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2821708

2. If your trying to put a picture from Cabelas, Midway or anywhere elseon the Internet in your post I have written up instructions here:

http://www.the-gleasons.com/How%20to%20put%20an%20Image%20in%20a%20Post%20on%2 0HuntingNet%20dot%20com.pdf

3. Here are a few Tips that I have written for Organizing your Computer for hunting, including making PDF copies of important posts:

http://www.the-gleasons.com/Tips%20for%20Organizing%20Hunting%20Content.pdf
(including a single PDF of multiple page posts)

4. You can test placing a post here:

http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tt.aspx?forumid=43

Here is a little Checklist of things you have to do:

Post a Picture:
1) get a photobucket account
2) upload a picture to photobucket
3) get into HuntingNet.com and in the Test Section put a picture in yourtest post

Post a Picture from Cabelas, Midway or other site:
1) find a picture of a product you are using say a bullet
2) follow the instructions I put together to find the URL of the Picture:
http://www.the-gleasons.com/Tips%20for%20Organizing%20Hunting%20Content.pdf
3) place a picture of a product in the Test Section

Print a single page Post to a PDF, store it on a Folder on your PC
1) download PrimoPDF and CutePDF (use Google to find them)
2) install PrimoPDF and CutePDF
3) find a thread you want to keep on your PC
4) Do a control-P or a File | Print from the IE Menu Bar and print the post to PDF, choose the CutePDF or the PrimoPDF "printer". The File | Print means togo to the Menu Bar, choose the File Menu, then choose the Print selection.

Print a Multiple Page Post to a single PDF using PrimPDF
follow the same instructions as above, but on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th page use the APPEND feature of PrimoPDF to append additional pages to the PDF.

I will write up some instructions on Placing a Small Picture in a HuntingNet.com Post. A Small Picture is one of less than "100K". You can do this with Paint. However I use a $29. product called SnagIt, which I recommend, www.techsmith.com/snagit. They have a free 30 day trial.

Best Wishes,
Chap

Thank's for the bump, but I dont think I should post these pics for everyone to see just as yet. You'll see why shortly.......as to being laid off, Im a roofer and also work on a Grape Farm, we live in a area where we grow Thousands of acres of Concord, Niagra, Catawba, and many Wine Varieities. And also a-lot of Corn, Apples, Peaches, soy beans ect. Thank's for the bump, Ron
