Went to D.ick's Sporting Goodsin Colorado, just looking around (yeah, right) and I came across a great deal. 30 packs of T/C shockwaves and XTPs were on sale for $7.97 I gladly got all of them (only 3 packs). Anyways, just a heads up for you fellers...and, well, maybe I'm bragging a little too
still cant understand why all these places in CO stock sabots. Not legal here in the first place.
ever go to bass pro in denver? they usually only carry 2 packs of powerbelts, some boxes of round balls and a million packages of sabots. Not to bright these places
I wonder if there are a lot of target shootings in Colorado? That would explain the sabots. But your right MD.. it really makes no sense. You'd think the rifle racks would be full of conical shooting rifles and every conicals from everyone would fill the shelves.

I have a few buddies that hunt units 7,8 and 9 during rifle that use MLs and sabots. I will be doing the same thing this year for pronghorn.
But I agree, the majority would not be using sabots... doesn't really make sense why they don't have shelves full of conicals.

Yeah, odd enough that they'd have them. But I live in Scottsbluff so I don't have to worry about sabots . Never have bothered much with BPS, md54. I prefer Cabela's selection for hunting gear and it's close to home.
It seems like the big box stores carry more sabots then conicals and they don't really move the sabots. I'm setting up my Omega for second riffle season with a scope. My ML season will be either maxi balls or Horandy FPB's with the red tip cut off at the opening of the hollow point (measures 1.0 inch), no scope of course.
