I have shot them all this year in my Savage, they are a tough bullet, retains nearly all their weight and shoot thru is good, expansion on close shots is not that good, however dead is dead with boom flop. I didn't shoot them in my TC Omega, because I felt that my Omega was gonna be my 100 yard gun and my Savage was my 200 yard gun. BC on 300g Semi Spitzer is .291. I use a Black Crushed Rib sabot (the ones for a .452 bullet) although the bullet is a .458 rifle bullet. I think if you used Blackhorn you would be OK, since it is pretty clean, but if you use 777 you will definitely have to swab.
