Looking to get some opinions on what is acceptable tolerances for inside bore diameters measurements for 50cal barrels. Examples, .498-.501,
.500-.503. ??
In ML's there is no standard bore, not even within the same company. The bores of today's 50's run anywhere from .499 to .504.
Since there is not Government set standard the companies can allow more wearintooling, meaning if the tool is brand new it might cut a .501 bore and by the time they replace it might be down to .499.
