Default TC 2009 Guns

TC has their website updated with some new 2009 guns. Looks like the only ML change is the new Triumph Bone Collector and a few rifles......

YUP. We pay more for very little. Speaking of things that look similar but are different...what is the big difference between the CVA Wolf and the CVA Optima...I think the wolf is made on the optima frame...and has a shorter barrel...but that is all I can see....so why the big price jump?

wolf is a smaller version of the optima. Has a hollow stock, light weight, shorter overall length for small shooter.

Optima is a big gun to haul around. much heavier over 9lbs scoped, solid stock and the frame is beefier.

i see the optima/optima elite/wolf being fazed out now that they have the updated accura and apex. Apex is a much nicer rifle than the optima elite

Wow, that is a lot heavier. I like carrying that wolf at times. It is very light and short and easy to carry. The accura looks nice...don't know much about the apex, but they might as well get rid of the optima at the very least and just keep the optima elite or like you say, perhaps drop both.

My buddy bought a Triumph this year and man...I have never shot a group as good as he shot with that right out of the box. Nice shooting gun...looks well built. I wouldn't mind having one myself, though I have always wanted a pro hunter.

Apex i believe runs $610 for the black/SS and only $685 for camo/SS. The new knight starts out at $500 and its the plain jane that cant swap barrels.

I never understood why someone would want a gun that you can exchange barrels. I believe if you Buy a ML you bought it because it is a ML, most already have their favorite rifle or whatever. I realize it is cheaper to just buy the barrel and exchange it and now you got a rifle, but still I dont see the point, mabey Im old fashioned or just missing something......Ron

I spoke with Dave, one of the repair guys at T/C. He said the rubber things on the stocks and forearms tend to fall out when the guns get cold.
