Default never fails- weather moved in today

woke up this morning to a blizzard! Lat night i cut some .018 pillow ticking and use my elk tallow for lube, along with a tid bit of crisco for some stickiness. I WANTED to shoot today but its just snowing way to hard to see the 100 yard target[:@]

Maybe i can do 25 yards and just test out the lube on the patches.

Patches held up excellent! Im not impressed with the group @ 25 yards though. I will bump the load to 100grains and see if it will tighten up.

AH HA!!! Shes liking 100gr pyrodex RS. I think the max load is 120 so i will give that a try later on. Not really wanting to shoot that much but if thats what it takes to get the best groups.... so much for saving powder.

dont know what you are shooting .

make your dot in black about size of quarter at 25 yards.

i use dime at 13 yards.

you should be able to almost put them in same hole at 25 yards with open sights.

on my hawkins,i can do this .i use 70 grs of 2f behind a .490 rb,.018 patch, bore button. i also use the six o clock hold on bottom of that black dot if your sights will let you.

some gun sights will not let you raise the poi up to bottom of black dot,so you have to hold dead on .
