Default off topic, family buz story

I will not keep you hanging on this.

it in last 6 months my mom and dad have been fighting to keep there store open. They where located in the local mall. the mall was no help, they where wanting them to fail. in fact, they made a deal with another couple, if they defaulted on the rent, they would have an complete store. they where pretty much kicked them out by the end of the year.

well, they paid the rent up to date in nov. then made dec. rent. now the mall pretty much wants them to say but in a kiosk set up. that is because they where able to keep all the stuff they own and screwed the mall in there plans. here is another kicker, there supplier likes to only have one of there sellers in one location. there rep. is pushing for them to stay, infact, they gave them an heads up on another location to goto. the rep. is pushing for them to be the ONLY seller of there product in the mall.

ok, last kicker.

the other location is a better deal, both our about $1100 per month, everything but phone covered. but the loction outside of the mall is in an stand alone location, strip mall, they can run there own hours, carry want they want. set down.

they have been in buz for 24 years. selling ice cream. going pretty much back to there roots.

end of my story for now.

someone on this site will know what mall and what ice cream shop it is.

I wish them the best. I'm in the auto business with a 60 plus year company, it's tough, but we will be innovative and endure.
