Default Muzzleloder Scopes????

Which Muzzloader scope is all around better? Leopold Ultimateslam or Nikon Omega? I am thinking (after reading my last post like 50 times, thanks for the help by the way!) of mounting it on a T/C Triumph. i am leaning the Nikon way because the reticle looks alot easier to judge distance by. Also the Leopold is guaged to shoot further, like200+ yards or something, maybe it's just me but is not getting the deer nice and close part of the reason M/L is more fun than a rifle (that you can shoot 500 yards with). Could really use your professional help again. Let me know the good and bad!!!! BEST HUNTING FORUM EVER!!!!!

I don't have either but I would go with the Nikon. I'm going to be in the market very soon for a scope to mount on the new Genesis I got for Christmas. So I'll be weighing my Nikon options to see which one I want.

I have the Nikon Omegaand have used the Ultimate Slam, they are both excellent I chose the Omega because it fits the Triumph and the Omega better; one of the few flaws I found in TC guns is the position of the mounting hole for the scope base, this can be dealt with but one needs to use the extended one piece base and pick a scope that does not have the section behind the adj rings extended. I have Nikon Omegas on 3 different inlines including my triumph and couldn't begin to say enough good things about it. Both long range deer I took this year(actually 3) i don't think I would have been able to do without the omega and the BDC reticle.
