Default Boy was I wrong about T/C's customer service

I have been trying to get ahold of someone from T/C for 2 weeks now. I have left 5 messages, sent 2 emails, and called over 30 times and have spent 127 minutes on hold and have still not gotten to talk to a person about the barrel I had go bad on my triumph. They have the poorest excuse for customer service I've seen in a long time!

I do belive this will be the last T/C or Smith and Wesson I'll ever buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

As always in returning a gun, don't send any aftermarket additions. They may get replaced with factory equipment for liability reasons.

Sorry to learn of your problems with TC. This kind of "service" is becoming more common every day.More and more companies do not feel obligated to service what they sell. Went through the samestuff on a Barnett crossbow.

Had a new top of the line H-P computer go haywire last spring. It took dozens of hours waiting on thephonewhile service reps inIndia and theUS read through their technical manuals.Frustrating is not the word for it: Perhaps criminal is the word for it.

It could be a holiday thing, some companies shut down for a week or two during the Christmas/New Year period. Of course the answering machine should have been updated to tell you that. Good luck with it.

Write down the rifles serial # before sending it off. If possible, take some pics even if its with a cellphone.

I thought I would share a story in regards to this subject. Last Friday evening I had a person at the house repairing my furnace. We got on the subject of hunting and muzzleloading. He was sharing a story about his dad who had purchased a Thompson Endeavor and had a problem with the gun. When he loaded a primer in the gun he was not able to close the breech action. He sent the gun back to Thompson and received another Endeavor that did the same exact thing. After screaming bloody murder he told Thompson he wanted a Pro Hunter instead. Not only did thompson send him out a new Pro Hunter but they also sent him a Nikon Omega BDC scope, mounting bases, rings, and a hard case for the gun free of charge for his troubles.

I can't say as I have ever had any problems w/TC. I call on the consumer line and ALWAYS get through. I'm a LH shooter and wanted a fluted barrel on the standard lam stock. No problem. I can't speak for anyone other than me but I have always had good results.
