Watch the classified and the gun auction sites.. They do show up once in a while.

I have a TC hawken in a 54 cal that I bought when I was 16.Lets see that was 28 years ago, whew I am getting old. Never could bring myself to sell it, but I still have all the guns that I have ever bought. Good luck in your search.

Is your Savage a 10MLII or the original 10ML? I might be interested in it, if you decide to let it go.

It is the 10-MLII, but it does not have the accu-trigger. Had the black composite stock, but I painted it a dull green (think its called olive drab) and left the checkering black. Shoots great with 44 grains of Accurate 5744 and short MMP sabot with hornady 240 xtp mag bullets. Has bases, rings, and bushnell scope. Not in perfect condition, but very close. Used it hunting the past two seasons. Going to all sidelocks.

i just saw a .50 cal hawkins flintlock in great shape for 275 dollars at my friends store,it was sold yesterday.

will keep my eye open but a .54 cal is hard to fine, lots of .50 cal.

anything under 300 in hawkins is good buy if its in good shape which most i see are.

do as dave SAYS, LOOK ON NET SITES.
